The Chicken Coop is a Village Building that produces and temporarily stores Eggs.
The Chicken Coop produces one Egg every 30 minutes until its maximum capacity is reached. Selecting the Chicken Coop will automatically transfer any Eggs in the Chicken Coop to the Village Kitchen's Pantry.
Once Animal Handling has been researched at the Study, a Villager can be assigned to the Chicken Coop to increase its production rate. The Villager will collect one Egg every 5 minutes of work, provided there is room to store more Eggs in the Village Kitchen. The Villager's collection rate can be temporarily increased by having them consume an Animal Handlers' Mixture, Brew or Tonic. Their collection rate can be permanently increased by training them at the Animal Handler's Guild.
The storage capacity of the Chicken Coop increases with the level of the building.

* The time to produce an Egg is reduced to 5 minutes while a Villager is assigned to the Chicken Coop.
