Pumpkin is a resource obtained from harvesting at a Pumpkin Patch. Harvested Pumpkins are carried to the Village Kitchen, where they are immediately turned into one Soup each.
Unlike other tasks at the Village, Villagers farming Pumpkins do not require Soup.
A single pumpkin takes a Villager 1 minute and 20 seconds to farm, not counting the time taken to carry the Pumpkin to the Village Kitchen and back.
The rate at which Pumpkins are farmed can be temporarily increased by consuming a Potion of Farming, or permanently increased by studying Farming at the Farmers' Guild.
