The Stone Mine is an unmovable Village Building that can be used to produce Stone once it has been rebuilt.
Two Stone Mines spawn at fixed locations at the start of the game, but they cannot initially be used. Once the Stone Mine has been researched at the Study, each Stone Mine can be rebuilt, allowing Villagers to be assigned to them.
A Villager assigned to a Stone Mine will produce one Stone every 90 seconds of work, provided there is room to store more Stone in a Stone Storage. The Villager's production rate can be temporarily increased by having them consume a Stonemasons' Mixture, Brew or Tonic. Their production rate can be permanently increased by training them at the Stonemasons' Guild.

It takes longer to gather Stone from a Stone Mine than from Stone deposits. A Villager assigned to a Stone Mine can gather an unlimited amount of Stone, whereas a Villager can only gather a limited amount of Stone from a Stone deposit before it is exhausted.
